About the McKinney Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association

The McKinney Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association (CFAAA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the McKinney Fire Department through volunteer service, public education, and community engagement. Comprised of graduates from the McKinney Citizens Fire Academy, our members are trained, committed individuals who give their time to assist with events, promote fire safety, and conduct fundraising to help meet departmental needs. By working hand in hand with the fire department, we aim to strengthen public trust, enhance emergency preparedness, and create lasting connections between residents and those who serve our city.

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization composed of graduates from the McKinney Citizens Fire Academy, we channel our passion for service into tangible support for the McKinney Fire Department (MFD). Our members volunteer their time, talents, and resources to strengthen emergency response capabilities and fire safety education across the city.

Our Mission in Action

Through our wide-ranging activities—assisting at emergency scenes, coordinating fire safety demonstrations, managing community events, and conducting fundraising initiatives—we help extend MFD’s reach and reinforce its mission. Our volunteers are trained, reliable, and ready to step up whenever and wherever needed.

Whether we’re placing safety signage at a live event, guiding families through educational exhibits, or helping staff a department open house, our alumni stand as trusted partners in building a stronger, safer McKinney.
